From the vault: Archive is Alive!

Exciting News! Machete documentary will be screened in New York in November!

I just got word that “Machete Kisumontao el Documental” was accepted as an official entry in the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival to be held in New York City November 11-15!  More details to come!!!

This acceptance is a dream come true: that I would be able to share the great work that Machete Kisumontao is doing for Puerto Rican culture in Pittsburgh in New York City! (And for myself,  it’s pretty awesome to show a film in NYC)!

“Machete Kisumontao el Documental” will be shown at Carlow University on the evening of October 8th.

More details about this event to come soon! I will be screening the Spanish subtitled version. 🙂
